Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026

Rebec Environmental, Inc., doing business as Rebec Solutions ("Rebec," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through rebecenvironmental.com and our online store at rebecenvironmental.shop (together, the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Rebec designs and sells dental amalgam separators and related products to dental practices and institutions. Our sister company, Pristine Environmental, provides ongoing collector-replacement, recycling, and compliance-documentation services. You can reach us any time using the details in the "Contact us" section below.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request a quote, contact us, or place an order, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, practice or business name, email address, phone number, mailing or shipping address, details about your practice (such as number of chairs or offices and your current equipment), and the contents of any message you send us. If you make a purchase, we also collect order details and billing/shipping information.
Payment information. Purchases through our online store are processed by our third-party e-commerce and payment providers. Payment card details are handled by those providers and their payment processors — we do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies and through analytics tools, including Google Analytics (GA4).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as health, biometric, or financial-account data beyond what a payment processor needs to complete a purchase), and we ask that you not send us such information through the Site.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:
  • respond to your quotes, questions, and requests;
  • process, fulfill, and support your orders;
  • provide customer service and ongoing product and compliance support (including coordinating Pristine services);
  • send you information you request and, where permitted, occasional updates about our products (you can opt out at any time);
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and as described here:
  • Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf — for example, web hosting, e-commerce and payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery, and analytics — who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us.
  • Our sister company. With Pristine Environmental, where needed to provide the recycling, disposal, and compliance-documentation services connected to your equipment.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rebec, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Our analytics tools (including Google Analytics (GA4)) help us see which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the Site so we can improve it. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are sent; some parts of the Site may not function properly without them. You can learn about opting out of Google Analytics at Google's opt-out page.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including our online store platform and social or industry resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to service your account, support your equipment, and meet legal, tax, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for dental professionals and businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may:
  • Access or update the information you've given us by contacting us;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and recordkeeping exceptions;
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; and
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Notice for California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request access to and deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Rebec does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below; we will verify and respond as required by law.

A note for visitors outside the United States

Rebec is based in the United States, does business in the United States, and the Site is intended for U.S. customers — it is not directed to or intended for individuals located outside the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
