How often do I change the CatchHg 400 collector?
Once a year, guaranteed — as long as the unit was sized correctly for your practice. If a correctly sized 400 fills faster than that and you ever need more than one collector change in a year, Rebec will cover the cost of the additional changes — forever. Pristine Environmental makes the annual collector change and disposal easy.
Will the 400 reduce my suction?
No. The CatchHg is designed for zero vacuum loss — full suction during procedures and even during the annual collector change. Plastic units can lose suction as their small cartridge fills toward capacity.
How long does installation take, and can I do it myself?
About 30 minutes — and yes it’s easy to do yourself. The CatchHg 400 drops into the same footprint as most existing separators. You can mount it on a wall or sit it on the floor. Collector changes are easy and you’ll have the support of Pristine Environmental to handle the collector disposal and required compliance documentation.
